On December 2nd, Puerto Rican designer Omayra “Ommy” Casillas Rodríguez appeared on Telemundo during the fashion segment of Hoy Día Puerto Rico, alongside host and fashion expert Desiree Lowry, to announce her upcoming participation in New York Fashion Week February 2026 under the Runway 7 platform.
During the live segment, Ommy showcased a preview of her vibrant designs, offering audiences an early look at the innovative artistry she will present at Sony Hall this coming February.

Located inside the historic Paramount Hotel on West 46th Street, Sony Hall has become one of New York’s most distinctive event spaces. Originally designed for live performances, the venue features state-of-the-art sound, lighting and visual systems, making it the perfect setting for Runway 7, where fashion merges with music, performance, and storytelling.
