What inspired you to shoot videography at Runway 7, and how does it stand out from other events?
I had been looking for my “big break” for years but the industry had a very hard time taking a chance on someone with a chronic illness even though it doesn’t effect my art negatively at all. If anything, it only positively impacts what I create. I fuel off of creating photographic beauty. Runway 7 was so accepting and inspiring. They really believe in all of their photographers and trust their vision. It’s what makes them have such an amazing community. They even trusted my visions with photographing runway on film. I’m here to prove that film is very much alive!

How do you capture the energy and movement of the runway in your videos?
To capture the energy, you have to be a part of the energy. There is no lazy or shy photographer and it takes a lot of trial and error. Runway photography is a world of its own. Once you find your groove though, you’re set.
